I have this thing with Paris, but who among us doesn’t?
Long before Emily on Netflix, I was sent from Palo Alto to Paris to open a satellite office for Facebook. Paris was not new to me - I had visited several times before, but this was my first time as an adult and on my own.
These were the days before you could search hashtags on Instagram for your desired destination, so I took to things the old fashioned way - scouring books and magazines.
As old habits die hard, I still find myself engaged in this practice of clipping any magazine article to do with Paris several years later. This is the result…
